When I found this divine golden unicorn at a local thrift shop, I was immediately inspired to make this Stamped Unicorn Charm Necklace. I believe that everyone has a little magic inside of them, it’s just a matter of tapping into that and sharing it with the world. The font is new from ImpressArt, it’s called Deco. It’s clean, simple, and easy to read with a vintage modern appeal. Isn’t it fabulous?

How to make
Step one: Tape the blank to the bench block. Start in the center bottom with the letter “e.”
Step two: Stamp “you are”, working from left to right and turning the block to face you before you strike each letter. This helps keep them aligned properly.
Step three: Use the awl to add dots between each word.
Step four: Use the asterisk from the Deco set and the awl to make stars around the top of the washer. (I’d suggest you take the tape off before you do this, I got some tape stuck in my stamped areas! Oops.)
Step five: Use the round end of the chasing hammer to add texture around the edge of the blank. This also helps if you stamped over the edge accidentally.
Step six: Apply Stamp Enamel to stamped areas. You can wipe this in with your fingertip or use a cotton swab. Just be sure you’re not wiping it out before you let it set for 10-20 seconds. Wipe the surface clean with a paper towel and let medium dry.
Step seven: Use a small tray or funnel to pour glitter into vial.
Step eight: Add a bead of adhesive around the edge of the stopper for the vial. Insert and let it dry. This will keep your vial from coming apart when you wear the necklace.
Step nine: Use chain nose pliers to attach the stamped pendant and unicorn to one jump ring and the glitter vial to another.
That’s it! Wear your Stamped Unicorn Charm Necklace with pride, you magical, majestic creature, you!
