Step one: Hammer texture into the blanks with the round end of a chasing hammer. Don’t whack the heck out of these, pewter is soft, we’re just adding some texture to give it a little shine.
Step two: You can tape the blanks down with Stamp Straight Tape to keep them from sliding when you stamp. Start in the center and stamp out, this ensures your word will be centered on the tag. The Juniper font includes a hashtag bonus stamp! Make sure the stamp is in full contact with the blank and give it one good strong hit. If you feel like you didn’t hit it hard enough DO NOT PICK IT UP OR MOVE IT, just hit it again. Once you pick it up and try to put it back, it’s all she wrote folks.
Step three: Wipe some acrylic enamel paint on the blank with a cotton swab, wipe off with a paper towel.
Step four: Place one end of the blank in the bracelet bending pliers, gently compress into an arc. Repeat for all blanks.
Step five: Connect it all together with jump rings and attach the clasp.
